A HERD of steers have been spotted making their way along a busy road in Airdrie.
The animals, who are believed to have escaped from a nearby farm, were walking down Braidenhill Road this morning, near a residential housing estate.
Photos sent to the Glasgow Times show dozens of beasts also blocking the main road, with cars waiting for them to pass.

"There are around thirty just walking along the main road and this is a busy road. It's around a lot of houses.
"Cars have been stopping to let them go past. They even tried to come into my estate at one point."
