Aberdeenshire farmer Patrick Sleigh on the South Shetland islands
North-east arable farmer, Patrick Sleigh, made sure to pack a copy of The Scottish Farmer for his trip-of-a-lifetime to the South Pole, last week.
The regular letter writer can be seen leafing through the paper with penguins by his side on the South Shetland Islands, which are more than 9000 miles from his home at West Fingask, Old Meldrum
