Police Scotland have reported several farm crimes in the north of the country.
There was an Aberdeenshire trailer theft at Catterline between November 1 and 11, when an Ifor Williams trailer valued at £3500 was stolen from a farm. On November 18 a Jasic welder worth £1400 was stolen from a farm near Kinneff, Inverbervie.

There was an attempted theft on December 1 when entry was forced to farm buildings between Laurencekirk and Fettercairn and illegal hare coursing occurred near Drumblade, by Huntly, on December 11, when two males driving a blue Isuzu Trooper with silver wheel arches entered fields with a lurcher type dog. The dog was released from the vehicle and immediately chased a hare then the males left when challenged by local residents.
There was also a case of livestock worrying near Forres, on November 24, which resulted in a sheep being put down.
