HERDWICK SHEEP trained to run and jump small fences will perform the 'Lamb National' at the Drumlanrig event
A feast of family fun awaits at the Galloway Country Fair, taking place at Drumlanrig Castle on August 20 and 21.
Local food and drink will be top of the menu at the event, with cookery demonstrations and an array of stalls selling everything from fine cheese, fudge, pies and cheesecakes, to artisan beers, craft gin, whiskies and cocktails.
But there will also be performing pigs, fence leaping sheep, birds of prey and dogs of all kinds, with a pet show, gundog scurry and retriever and spaniel tests. This year's event is also collaborating with the Land Rover meet-up 'DefenderJam'.
