Dairy farmers supplying Müller will receive a milk price of 47pence per litre from September 1, following a 1ppl increase.
Joint chief executive officer at Müller Milk & Ingredients, Rob Hutchison, said: “Throughout our supply chain, and on farm, we continue to see volatility in costs.

“We will do everything we can to support our farmers and protect the security of supply. We will closely monitor all of the factors which influence farm gate milk price, including farm supplies in the coming months.”
The increase is dependent on producers adhering to the rules of the Müller Advantage scheme, which aims to improve supply chain collaboration, herd health and reductions in environmental impact – to which 99.5% of the company's eligible supplying dairy farmers have already committed.
