The Mackies' farm, at Westerton, recently hosted Countryside Live organised by the Royal Northern Agricultural Society.
After a two-year absence due to Covid, the family event was back offer an opportunity to see round a working farm and discover where the world-famous Mackies Ice-cream was produced.
Attendees got a chance of a tractor and trailer tour of the farm and the wind turbines on the hill. There were also Clydesdale demonstrations, sheepdog trials and a vintage tractor rally. The chose charities for the day were Charlie House, Maggie's Aberdeen and Muscular Dystrophy UK.
