DAIRY FARMER co-op First Milk has announced that its member milk price will increase by 2.0ppl from June 1, 2022.
This will take its June 2022 milk price, on a manufacturing standard litre, to 42.05ppl, including the member premium and regenerative farming bonus.

Commenting on the announcement, farmer director and vice-chairman Robert Craig said: “We fully recognise the challenges faced by our farmer members because of the significant cost inflation being felt across society.
"Our aim continues to be to return additional income from the market to our members as quickly as we can, and to work to ensure these increased returns are maintained, to deliver a more equitable dairy industry for the future.”
