Almost 40% of the cattle were sold on line at Dr Eryl Done's on-farm Wyevalley dispersal of four dairy breeds where prices peaked at 8200gns.
The sale, at West Thornber, Wigglesworth, Skipton, saw 735 bidders approved on MartEye which attracted two thirds of the bidding.

Sale leader was Wyevalley Sidekick Barb VG87, a calved heifer from the Hanoverhill Barb family which goes back to Hanoverhill Logic Berry Ex90, purchased by Eryl at just 18 years of age when he was working at Hanoverhill for the late Peter Heffering. By Walnutlawn Sidekick and out of the Ex93-3 Bowberhill Jeeves Barb, this three-year-old sold for 8200gns to Jason Booth, buying for the Beechview herd from Stewartstown, Co Tyrone. She changed hands served to Farnear Delta Lambda.
Her three-month-old heifer calf, Wyevalley Haniko Barb, by Siemers Lambda Haniko, made 2800gns selling to the Forsyths, Baltier, Whithorn, Wigtownshire.
Second top was 4600gns paid for the similarly aged Wyevalley Arbor Carmen Red VG86-2yr, a June-calved heifer by Pine-Tree Arbor-Red bred from the Ex91 Wyevalley Laddette Carmen Red. She sold in calf to Stantons Chief for next May, to Will Olfield, buying for the Whinhill herd from Gisburn.
Selling for 3300gns was Wyevalley O'Hare Polo Cosmo ET, a GP84-2yr, bred from the VG88 Huijben DG Earn Polo which is a daughter of the VG87 GMD DOM Larcrest Cosmopolitan. A four-year-old by Pine-Tree Ohare-P, she was AI'd in March to EDG Rubicon. The buyer was PJWaring, buying for the Winton herd.
Scandinavian Reds were topped at 2800gns, when Richard Thomas of the Neuadd herd, Llanfair, Caereinion, bought Wyevalley Havard Orreja VG85. This four-year-old second calver by R Harvard, out of the Ex93-4 690 Orreja, sold AI'd to VR Thiago.
Top price amongst the British Friesians was 2600gns paid on two occasions. First was Goonhilly Chad Verity Ex92-3, a nine-year-old cow by Catlane Chad, which sold due with her seventh calf sexed to Lakemead Jingle. Bred by J Tripconey, this 86% British Friesian was knocked down to Messrs Ramsay, buying for the Dockrayhall herd.
Matching that price was her 15-month-old daughter, Wyevalley Karactacus Verity 2, by Beaufort Karactacus. She is a full sister to the No1 gPLI bull and No1 legs and feet (+1.24) bull at Genus, Wyevalley Veritas ET and sold to P Cleary of the Carrickshock herd.
