A FANTASTIC line-up of international and local artists will feature at this weekend's virtual Tiree Music Festival, including new performances from the likes of Callum Beattie and Skerryvore.
The two-hour event 'Air Chuairt' will air on BBC Alba from 9pm on Saturday, July 11, with presenters Niall Iain Macdonald and Fiona Mackenzie hosting proceedings.
The programme will feature new music recordings from Skerryvore, Be Charlotte, Callum Beattie, Ian Smith, Alec Dalglish, Jamie & Anna Macdonald alongside classic archive performances from the The Fratellis, Trail West, The Urban Teuchters, Sharon Shannon, We Banjo 3, Tiree-based artists and festival features.
With physical events still a long way off in the Covid-19 calendar, the virtual festival will play a part in reconnecting audiences, as well as allowing for a nostalgic trip down memory lane with its fantastic archive of past events.
If you can't catch the show on Saturday, it will be available on the BBC iPlayer for 30 days afterwards.
