STIRLING MP Alyn Smith – who represented Scottish agricultural interests in the European Parliament for 15 years – reconnected with the sheep sector this week when he paid a visit to Norwegian farmer Malin Holmefjord-Heen, who is based on the banks of Loch Venachar just outside Callander, to discuss the sustainability of the sector, and in particular the unsustainable price farmers are getting for their wool!
