BRITISH GAME stockists have risen to the challenge of supplying the country with game meat during the pandemic and are providing a home delivery service nationwide.

Wild & Game, The Meat Box Company, The Pie Life and Willo Game have committed to delivering quality assured wild game meat to consumers' doorsteps as an alternative to going to the supermarket.

Wild & Game's self-isolation packs each include a selection of BGA assured game meat, game pies and pasties and one pack will last fourteen days - delivered free of charge nationwide. The Meat Box Company work closely with the British Game Alliance, National Trust and the Forestry Commission and are offering nationwide delivery service by DPD and locally with their vans.

The Pie Life is a specialist bakery in Staffordshire, stocking a Venison Red Wine & Mushroom Pie amongst a wide range of other products, and is offering free delivery to homes across the UK. Willo Game is a BGA assured game stockist which has produced a new Venison Hamper, as well as other frozen game products such as pheasant breasts, which are also available for delivery to homes nationwide.

Co-founder of Wild and Game, Steven Frampton, said: “The UK has found itself in an unprecedented situation and we recognise that as a retailer of frozen food we are able to offer something for the many people who are self-isolating. We’ve put together this cut-price pack with the aim of helping people to avoid supermarkets by having Wild and Game products delivered straight to the door. We hope we will be making self-isolation less of an ordeal by making mealtimes enjoyable.”

Director of The Meat Box Company, Andy Gray, added: “We are excited to announce The Meat Box Company is delivering the finest meats from our farm in Devon to your front door, during this challenging period. We have been supplying our award winning meat to fine restaurants, hotels and gastro pubs across the West Country for over 60 years and now is the perfect time to let you tuck into our best cuts from the comfort of your home.”
