GAME AND Wildlife Conservation Trust Scotland has confirmed the 2020 dates of the Scottish Game Fair and opened the online box office to the general public.
The fair will return to Scone Palace Parklands in Perthshire over the weekend of July 3 to 5.
2019's event attracted 32,000 people across its three days, and the 2020 event promises to draw similar crowds for a celebration of conservation and the countryside, while at the same time raising funds for GWCT's conservation work.
The 32nd Fair will feature a big line-up of traders, competitions and a revamped main ring programme. There will be a plethora of country sports activities, coaching and competitions to appeal to all ages and abilities, from fishing and clays to gundogs.
The always popular Food Theatre returns alongside competitions such as the Junior Macnab Challenge, giving youngsters a chance to try their hand at country sports skills, completely free of charge.
GWCT Director (Scotland) Bruce Russell said: "We would like to thank the brilliant volunteers who help keep the Fair running as smoothly as possible. The team might be doing anything from litter picking to helping score a gundog competition – and everything in between. We want our volunteers to have a great time working at the Fair, and our Volunteer Co-ordinator will be on hand to make sure they have a sociable and fun time supporting the Fair."
