MORE connectivity and new assistance services will now be part of the inventory of New Holland’s T7 long-wheel-base and ‘heavy duty’ models
The MyPLM Connect portal enables owners to manage their tractor from their office, while the ‘Back to work in 48 hours’ and ‘Fast Track Assist’ packages are aimed at keeping machines at work in the field.
These are available through the MyNew Holland all-in-one app and users will be able to connect and monitor their Stage V T7.195S to T7.270 long-wheel-base models and the T7.275 to T7.315 heavy duty tractors via this courtesy of a one-year free telematics subscription.
Both these types of T7s use the proven ECOBlue HI-eSCR 2 technology, which has a patented maintenance-free after-treatment system to reduce operating costs. New Holland said the simple layout of the EGR-free engine also gives 25% longer service intervals, compared to previous Tier 4B models.
The ‘Back to work in 48 hours’ and ‘Fast Track Assist’ means that New Holland undertakes to repair the machine within 48 hours, or provide a back-up unit to get the customer back to work. This relies on the tractor’s connectivity and following its introduction in France, will be gradually extended across other European markets, including the UK.
New Holland also offers a Fast Track Assist priority assistance service for its flagship ranges (CX and CR combines, Big Balers, FR forage harvesters, T9, T8, T7, T6 Auto-Command and T6 Dynamic-Command). This has a priority parts process and is free of charge for five years – already it’s been shown to solve more than 80% of breakdowns in less than 48 hours.
Also fresh from the New Holland stable is the T5 range with AutoCommand CVT transmission.
This adds versatility to the T5’s performance, with its three-stage acceleration and deceleration settings – the ‘soft’ setting is for gentle direction changes; the ‘standard’ is for normal field activities; and there’s a ‘super-fast’ setting guarantees near instantaneous direction changes. This all makes them ideal for loader work.
Fitted with the well proven NEF four-cylinder, 4.5 litre engine developed by FPT Industrial, this delivers max power outputs from 110 to 140 hp – which is 20 hp more than the current T5.120 ElectroCommand model.
The T5 AutoCommand meets Stage V emissions standards with the NEF engine and the new Hi-ESCR2 technology developed by FPT Industrial. This after-treatment system is a maintenance-free solution is packaged neatly under the hood, for maximum visibility.
The Horizon cab has acres of space, low in-cab noise levels, a better ergonomics, partly thanks to the intuitive features in the SideWinder armrest.
The T5 AutoCommand range will be offered in 4 models, ranging from 110-140hp and the top rated T5.140 model will be available in ‘Blue Power’ spec’ with its higher comfort levels and added techno gizmos, as well as an eye-catching design.
