Goodyear Farm Tyres has extended its warranty to 10 years on its entire agricultural radial range.
This will see it extend coverage for product workmanship and material by two years and will apply across the UK and Europe.
Lindsay Hart, European farm tyre sales director for Goodyear, said: “We are committed to providing the best possible product and service to our customers and this is the next phase of that.
“The feedback on the quality and the performance of our tyres from customers has been outstanding, but offering additional protection for a longer period of time displays the confidence we have in our R and D process and products.
“We will continue to work tirelessly to provide the best quality products possible and ensure the increased warranty is an insurance policy for customers rather than something they have to actively pursue.”
The 10-year warranty is based around a pro rata refund determined by years of service of the product and percentage wear. And as part of the workmanship and materials protection, the length of time a no-cost replacement will be provided if a tyre is less than 25% worn has been extended from one year to two.
Titan International has been manufacturing Goodyear tyres in America for more than a decade and has recently purchased the licence for the European and UK markets. It has also made a significant investment in new plant and equipment to manufacture tyres specifically for the European market.
