A Limousin piece by Angela Davidson
ALWAYS popular with farming folk is the striking artwork created by Aberdeenshire-based Angela Davidson.
Her unique pieces are dedicated to animals – both livestock and domestic – with many of them featuring all-black backgrounds and detailed close-ups of animals including Texels, Limousins, Herefords, and horses.

The self-taught artist also accepts commissions for which she takes photographs to help her work out the composition of a piece before starting work in her studio near the village of Insch.
