A bale silage sample was the overall winner in the North of Scotland Grassland Society forage competition, judged by the previous year's winner, Murray Cooper, Backhill of Thornton, Inverurie.
Mr Cooper who also triumphed with bale silage, found his supreme in an entry from Huntly-based farmer, Alan Bradley, Tillyminate.
In contrast to last year when there was no on-farm judging due to the pandemic, this year saw a return to such selection criteria, with the pit section being won by regular winner, Jamie McIntyre Milton of Cullerlie, who just pipped former supreme, William Willis, Glasgoforest, Inverurie to the top spot.
On analysis, a sample from Glasgoforest scored a maximum 35 points.
