Standing champion was Charlotte Young’s Forneth Lucky Daisy, a six-year-old Collessie Whinhill President daughter that also stood show supreme at Strathaven last year.
This year she has had only a few but highly successful, outings and, most recently, stood reserve at the City of Aberdeen Clydesdale Show held at Duthie Park.

She’s had a haul of tickets over the years and during her few outings this year stood champion at Wigtown and reserve at both Perth and the the Aberdeen Clydesdale show. Reserve – K Donald, Strathaven Road, Sandford, with Boat Lady Annabelle, a three-year-old Dillars Ideal daughter bred out of Boat Lady Bethany. She stood champion at Stonehouse earlier this year and champion at Lesmahagow last year. Brood mare, colt foal, female bred by exhibitor, points – A Steel and Son, Jackton, Ayr. Fill foal, foal champion – Miss A Jackson, Covington Mill, Thankerton. Yeld mare, female champion – C Young. Two-year-old filly – J Rochhead, Malcolmwood, Blantyre. Two-year-old colt or gelding, male bred by exhibitor – A and E Campbell, Netherwood Cottage, Kilmacolm. Yearling colt or gelding, male champion – R Hamilton, Dillars, Lesmahagow. Pair – W Drummond and J Rochhead. Young handlers – 1, James Hair; 2, Laura Smith.
