Taking the supreme title as well as Clydesdale champion, was David Walker and Beverley Brown from Galcantray, Cawdor, with Kilmaclasser Bonnie Lily, a three-year-old mare which has taken several awards already. Reserve was Eric and Miranda Johnstone, from Muir of Ord, with Ord Envy.

Clydesdale (Judge: A Craig, Arran View, Coylton, Ayr). Champion and champion of champions – D Walker and B Brown, Easter Galcantray, Cawdor, with Kilmaclasser Bonnie Lily, a three-year-old mare which was bred in Southern Ireland and stood champion at Ayr and Doune and Dunblane this year. She is by Cloondaff Setanta and out of Carnaff Bonnie Marie. Reserve – E and M Johnstone, Highfield Circle, Muir of Ord, with Ordy Envy, a five-year-old brood mare by Dillars Scottie Boy out of Ord Touch of Class; champion at Dornoch and Nairn last year and and champion of champions at the Duthie Park Horse Show for the last two years. Gelding, yeld mare, foal, two-year-old filly – D Walker and B Brown. Brood mare, one-year-old filly – E and M Johnstone. Young handler – E Maclean, Redroofs, Crossroads, Keith.
