Irish Charollais sheep records were smashed on two occasions at the dispersal of the Knockcroghery flock at Roscommon, when Aberdeenshire breeders, William and Carole Ingram and family, Logie Durno, forked out €10,000 and €11,000.
The sale from Declan Miley first saw the All-Ireland show winning ewe, Knockcroghery Winter make €10,000 only to be followed by her Oakchurch Utopia-sired ewe lamb, which surpassed that selling at €11,000 to the Logie Durno flock.

Also making €10,000 was a 2021-born ewe and a half sister to the previous lot which sold to Sinead Brophy.
Stock ewes averaged €1550, gimmers levelled at €1618 and ewe lambs cashed in at €1780.
