Swaledale ewes sold to a top of £440 per head for the first prize pen from TW Cowperthwaite, Tennant Gill, Malham Moor, at a show and sale at Bentham.
The sale leaders sold to H Crocker, Town End, with the four prize pen also from Tennant Gill making £350.
The second and third prize winning pens from R and E Cowperthwaite, Stockdale, Settle, made £340 and £350 respectively.

Gimmers peaked at £215 for the first prize winners from J and JE Bradley, Giggleswick
Three-crop ewes averaged £151.74, up £48 on the year, with gimmers cashing in at £148.72 which represents a rise of £37.
Cheviot ewes sold to £170 for three-crops from RW and ER Hargreaves, Lambhill, Slaidburn with a run of gimmers from JW Hall, Darnbrook, Settle, selling to £215, £210 and £205.
