Prices peaked at £3500 at the dispersal of Patrick and Kirsty Sowerby's Swaledale ewe hoggs from Oakbank Farm, Barras.

The sale, staged at Kirkby Stephen saw the sale leader, a daughter of Oakbank Harry, sell to Messrs Fawbert, York.

No fewer than 17 hoggs sold at four-figure prices with another by Harry making £2600 to Messrs Hall, Keld.
