Cattle from Thomas Iveson, Hawes, were certainly the pick of the day at Hawes Farmers auction mart's sale of 92 store cattle, with trade topping at £1640 for British Blue heifers.
Limousin crosses also from the same home, secured both the champion and reserve honours in the pre-sale show, the top ticket went to a heifer which went on to make £1580, whilst the steer in reserve achieved £1380.
Topping the steer trade at £1440 was a Limousin from G and P Middleton.
