The reserve champion, Carriver Pivot Punch, secured the joint top price of £2900 at CCM Skipton’s November Craven Dairy Auction sale for TR Baines, West Rounton.
A Bomaz Pivot daughter, freshly calved two weeks she is yielding 30kg and headed to Beamsley with Alan and Emily Middleton.
Some 13 heifers cashed in at £2342.

Achieving the same price was Boroughgreen Episode Davine, a 36kg heifer from Stephen and Jack Swales, Hutton Rudby.
Another heifer from the same home followed close behind at £2800, she is bred from the home-bred Applejax. It was the show champion that took the next best price at £2780. Judged by Shaun Sowray, Bishop Thornton, his winner is a late-October calved Stantons Adorable heifer from Richard Gawthrop, West Yorkshire.
