John Walsh of the Buckhurst herd, Walmersley, Bury, produced the top price of 3500gns at the annual autumn sale of Aberdeen Angus cattle at Skipton.
Buckhurst Lady Heather Z350, a June 2023-born heifer, took that top price when being knocked down to Andrew Holgate, Rathmell. Sired by HF Alcatraz 60F, she is bred from the Lady Heather line, and sold scanned in-calf to Buckhurst Mistic Prince.

Three in-calf heifers, sired by Morpheus Rolex UO45 and out of Rawburn Ebony N666, realised 3400gns, 3000gns and 2200gns for Buckhurst Blackbird Z338, Buckhurst Elegant Z343, and Buckhurst Ebony Z337 respectively.
A draft of in-calf cows from Adrian and Penny Johnson’s Yearsley herd, Brandsby, sold to 1900gns for the February 2022 Yearsley Royal Lady Y241, sired by McCornick Pathfinder and out of a Rawburn Black Hawk-sired dam. Carrying a calf due next spring to Moss Florian, she sold to the Church family, Otley.
