Myfyr Evans of the Rhaeadr flock achieved the top price of 3200gns at a Suffolk Sale at Monmouthshire Livestock Centre.
Pre-sale champion was a ewe lamb sired by Carony Ca Ching and out of a home-bred ewe. The judge, Gareth Jones of the Rowlestone flock, backed his decision and purchased this girl.
The same home took the reserve honours with another ewe lamb by the same sire, which went on to make 3000gns to S Elsworthy, Chulmleigh, Devon.
