It was guest consignment from Mark and Elaine Hartley’s Pendle herd, Roughlee, that topped the joint annual production sale from Alan and Graham Coates’ Greystone herd at Skipton.
Pendle Talulah sold for 6000gns, bring sired by Greystones Noveltee, out of Pendle O Witchy, and was purchased by Amy Mountain, New York Farms, Silsden.
Pendle Tickety-Boo then made 5500gns when selling to Lincolnshire’s Joe Crust, Spilsby. A Henlli Wishmaster daughter she is out of Pendle Orchid.

Kevin Watret of the Solway View herd, Annan, went to 5200gns for Greystones Scirocca for the best from Alan and Graham Coates, Rainscar, Stainforth.
This in-calf 2022 born heifer is sired by Newroddige Highflyer out of the Almeley Ginola daughter, Greystone Mistral. She sold in-calf to the 16,000gns Auchenlay Ranger.
On the same money way Greystone Satin, when the hammer fell to Henley Livestock, Tadcaster. Sired by Almelay Ginola, out of Greystone Focus, she is again in calf to Ranger.
The solitary cow and calf entry made 5500gns when selling to John Wood, Trawden. This 2015 born cow, Greystone Korky, is a daughter of Greystone Arctic and out of the Tamhorn Ringmaster-sired Greystone Herpine. She sold with her bull calf at foot, the March-born Greystone Ulay.
