Some 11,672 sheep forward for C and D Auction Marts' sale saw 5382 lambs average 283.4p, selling to 376p for Beltex from D Smith, Scobshaugh, Kirriemuir, or to £200 for Suffolks from HM Livestock, Shethin, Ellon.
Texel ewes topped the cast sheep trade at £330 from R and A Harrison, Hazel Head, Wigton.
Cast cattle sold to £1710 for an Aberdeen Angus from N McBurney, Balsalloch, Girvan, or 220p for a Limousin from Moorfields.

United Auctions sold 8352 sheep comprising of 5910 lambs and 2442 cast sheep at their weekly sale. Lambs averaged 273.41p per kg and sold to 341p for Beltex from Clochie, Tipperdarroch, and Mains of Dalruzion, or £168 for Suffolks from South Flanders.
Cast sheep peaked at £272 for Suffolk tups from Chalmerstone.
Stirling (Cally)
Heifers and bullocks averaged 309.06p and 283p per kg respectively at the Caledonian Marts sale. Heifers peaked at 348p or £2248 for a Limousin from AA and J Brand, Nethermyres, Auchtermuchty.
Bullocks sold to 330p for a Limousin from W Kerr, Balbie, Burntisland, or £2266 for a Limousin from Nethermyres.
Young bulls reached 282p or £2222 for a Limousin from T Russel, Dripend, Stirling.
Cast cattle realised 214p for a Limousin from A Kennedy and Sons, Seggarsdean, Haddington or £1990 for a Charolais from A MacGregor, Allanfauld.

Heifers (28) sold to 327p for a 600kg Limousin cross from Chapel of Barras Farm, Stonehaven, or £2242.20 for a 740kg British Blue cross from Coleburn Farm, Longmorn.
Young bulls (19) hit a top of 283p or £2433.80 for a Limousin from Cranna Farm, Aberchirder and cast entries reached £2720 for an 1190kg Limousin bull from Coleburn Farm.
The 2304 lambs averaged 268p and sold to 338p for a 45kg Beltex form Home Farm of Auchry, Cuminestown, or £162 for a 68kg Texel from Bu of Orphir, Orphir.
Cast sheep were topped at £285 for Texels from Quoymorhouse, Balfour.
St Boswells
Bullocks and heifers averaged 309p and 304p per kg respectively at the Harrison and Hetherington’s sale on Monday.
Bullocks (34) sold to 334p and £2482.48 from Wellheads with the 45 heifers selling to 342p from Bee Edge and £2394.40 from Wellheads.
Seven young bulls averaged 300p having sold to 320p per kg from Fowberry Moor and £2378.04 from Ramrig whilst 46 cast cattle reached a high of 272p for a cow from Bow or £2219 for a bull from Muircleugh.
The sale of 1957 lambs averaged 290p and peaked at 350p for Beltex from Huntington or £181 for Texels from Legars.
Cast sheep (752) realised £245 for a pen of three Texels from Messrs Elliot, 2 Duke Street, Hawick.

Limousin crosses topped Harrison and Hetherington’s prime cattle sale where heifers sold to £2489 from Messrs Beaty, Langhorn, Egremont or 348.6p per kg from Messrs Story, Newbiggin.
Bullocks reached £2449.01 for a 741kg entry from Newbiggin or 339.5p for a 686kg stot from Messrs Bowe, Bothel Parks, Wigton.
Young bulls (66) peaked at £2755.90 for an 868kg animal from Messrs Eve, Stubbsgill, Wigton, or 318.5p for a 781kg entry from Messrs Wilson, Reddings Farm, Moffat.
Cast cattle (380) sold to £2498 for a 927kg British Blue cow from Messrs Mackay, Auchenairney Farm or 271.5p for a 609kg Simmental cross cow from Messrs Peile, Parkgate Hall.
Lambs (3111) averaged 305p having sold to 500p or £200 for 40kg Beltex from Messrs Sparke, Little Swinburne, Hexham.
Cast sheep reached £300 for Texel ewes from Norman Farming, Carlisle.

Limousins also topped Lawrie and Symington’s sale of 38 bullocks and heifers and 85 cast cows on Monday, where heifers sold to 370p per kg and £2415 from Brockwoodlees Farm. Bullocks reached 350p and £2324 from Walkerdyke Farm.
Young bulls peaked at £2147 and 228p from Wellhead Farm, while cast cattle reached £1970 or 226p for Limousin cross cows from Buteland Farm.
Lambs (3814) averaged 281p having sold to 329p for Beltex from Gosland or £174 for Blue Texels from Strawfrank.
Cast sheep (1646) peaked at £268 for Texel ewes from Townhead Farm.
Ayr
An entry of 2043 lambs and 622 cast sheep at the Craig Wilson’s sale, saw the former average 288p per kg having sold to 352p for Beltex from Messrs Watson, Muir, or £170 for Suffolks from Messrs Thomson, Blairbowie.
Cast sheep were topped by a Beltex tup at £255 from E Cunningham, Westfield.
On Tuesday, heifers averaged 317.8p and sold to 349p and £2213 for Limousins from The Smith Family, North Boig.
Cast cattle (137) reached £1700 for a Simmental bull from J Drummond, Skeoch Farm and a British Blue cross cow from G McCubbin, Mossend.
Huntly
United Auctions sold 2207 sheep on Tuesday where 1497 lambs averaged 272p per kg, selling to 304p for a 39.5kg Blue Texel from Teuchitfauld, Maud, or £161 for 63kg Texels from Cobbleheugh, Dinnet.
Cast sheep averaged £104.60 and reached £248 for Texels from Cobbleheugh.
Dingwall
An entry of 1027 sheep forward for Dingwall and Highland Marts’ sale saw 419 lambs sell to 311p per kg or £151 for 48.5kg Texel crosses from The Dell of Killiehuntly, Kingussie.
Cast sheep sold to £265 for a pair of Texel cross ewes from Druid Temple Farm, Inverness.
Castle Douglas
On Tuesday, Wallets Marts sold 1351 lambs to average 303.68p per kg with top prices of 329.8p and £185 paid for Texels from Messrs Farries, Byrecroft and Messrs Kerr, Denty, respectively.
The 688 cast entries were topped at £191 for Texel rams from Messrs Hamilton, Derrie with ewes to £187 for Texels from Messrs Sturrock, Barwhanny.
