A British Blue cross bullock from A Roskell and Partners, Laverhay, Wamphray, was crowned supreme and sold for the top price of £1680 at C and D Auction Marts’ suckled calf sale at Longtown.
Judges Willie and Ethan Miller, High Aketon, Wigton, found their reserve in a Limousin bullock from Messrs Dent, Beamwham, Hexham which later sold for £1520.
