An Aberdeen Angus heifer from Cairnhill, realised £1760, whilst Charolais from Dallowie, peaked at 389p.

Some 1480 store lambs sold to £115 on two occasions for Texels, firstly from Joanne McColm, Barncorkrie and again from the Paton family at Millenderdale.

On Tuesday, the firm sold nine dairy cattle to a top of £2250 for a fresh calved Friesian heifer from Messrs Steel, Ditton.

A larger show of 143 calves and stirks reached £860 for a pair of Aberdeen Angus cross heifer stirks from Messrs Robb, South Palmerston. Heifers realised £800 on two occasions, firstly for a Luing off Drannandow Farms and again for a British Blue cross from Messrs King, Old Barn.

A Longhorn cross bull from Boydston Farming, topped the calf trade at £640, whilst heifers peaked at £550 for a British Blue cross from A Woodburn, Killoch.

Simmentals topped the heifers at 300.4p for a 486kg entry from Lower Milton, Wick and to £1490 for a 581kg heifer from Park View.

Weaned calves witnessed bullocks (42) and heifers (33) average 327.6p (+53.6p) and 311.2p respectively.

Bullocks peaked at 393.5p for a 277kg Limousin cross from Lynton Cottage, Ulbster, and to £1300 for a 416kg Charolais cross from Tacher, Latheron.
