Bullocks from L and B George, Parrock, Rothiemay, secured both the champion and reserve honours at United Auctions’ show and sale of 589 store cattle at Huntly.
Supreme was a 630kg Limousin cross which realised £1960, with the reserve a 615kg Charolais cross selling for £1880.
Judge Callum Keir, Cairncoullie, found his champion heifer in a 542kg Limousin cross from the same home which made £1730.

Bullocks (281) and heifers (299) averaged 317.3p per kg (+3.9p on the year) and 294.1p (+7.7p) respectively.
Bullocks sold to 389.6p for Charolais crosses from Haddoch, Rothiemay, and to £2000 for Limousin crosses from Parrock, Rothiemay.
Charolais crosses from Auchnascraw, Glenlivet, led the heifers at 329.9p, whilst Limousin crosses again from Parrock, Rothiemay, made £1960.
