Panmure 1 Alexander, a well-known pedigree Hereford show bull, has been sold privately for £10,000.
The January 2023-born bull from the firm of JM Cant and Partners, Arbroath, was reserve male at Agri Expo; reserve overall junior at the Stars of the Future; any other native champion at Angus Show; reserve junior male at the Royal Highland and native junior at Perth Show.
Bred from the best of genetics, his sire is Romany 1 Thor, while his dam, Panmure 1 Blessing S4 is a daughter of the 2014 Royal Highland and Scottish National champion, Panmure 1 Blessing G6.
Alexander sold south for pedigree use having been purchased by Highridge Farm Partners, Highridge Farm, Surrey.
