Bullocks sold to 357.10p for a 420kg Charolais cross from Laigh Alticane, and to £1930 for a 675kg Simmental cross from Mollandhu.
A 468kg Charolais cross from Dyke led the heifers at 320.50p, whilst a 590kg Limousin cross made £1770 for Bowhill.
A 412kg Limousin cross from Clatto, topped the young bulls at 267p and £1100.

Topping the bull section at £1680 was a Limousin from Messrs Andrew Cowx, Hudscale.
A Limousin also led the steers at £1540 for W Hughes, Asby, whilst a Simmental heifer from Auchengray Farms, realised £1700.

Charolais crosses from Messrs Jack, Woodend, Muir of Ord, achieved the top prices at Aberdeen and Northern Marts’ store cattle sale, with a 768kg steer and 674kg heifers making £2120 and £1970 respectively.
An overall sale average of 303p per kg and £1483.40 per head, was achieved with 386 bullocks levelling at 304.3p and 285 heifers balancing out at 302.5p.
Top price per kg was 393p paid for a 402kg Limousin heifer from Hillocks, Keig, whilst bullocks peaked at 359.8p for a pair of 428kg Charolais crosses from Cluseburn, Inverbervie.
Bulls (7) sold to 323.2p or a 396kg Limousin from Crichie, Inverurie, and to £1790 for a 662kg Charolais from Mains of Lundie, Edzell.

Charolais crosses led the 148 calves and stirks with heifers to £1050 from Messrs McNicol, Harplaw, and bullocks to £1000 from Messrs Brown, Balligmorrie.
Calves reached £660 for a British Blue cross bull from Messrs Guthrie, West Mosside, with heifers to £490 for three Charolais Crosses from Messrs Rorison, Dallowie.
