Bullocks led the proceedings at Craig Wilson's sale of 493 store cattle, having sold to £1970 for an Aberdeen Angus bullock from High Kilbride, and to 322p per kg for Limousins from Little Creoch.
Heifers achieved £1660 on two occasions, firstly for a Limousin from Lindsayston, and again for a British Blue from the Nelson family, Holmpark, top pence per kg among the heifers was Limousins from Little Creoch at 309p.
On Tuesday, the firm sold 32 dairy cattle, to a top of £2300 for a fresh calved Holstein Friesian heifer from W Kilpatrick, Craigie Mains.
This was closely followed at £2100 by a freshly calved Ayrshire heifer from Messrs McHarg, Crofthead.
Also forward was a show of 128 calves and stirks which peaked at £1170 for Aberdeen Angus cross stirks from Messrs Stirling, Macnairston, with heifers from the same home making £1030.
Limousin crosses from Messrs Smith, South Kilbride, topped the calves with heifers and bulls realising £650 and £620 respectively.
A selection of 15 cows with calves at foot from Messrs Ferguson, Drumbowie, averaged £1567 having sold to £1800 for a Lincoln Red cross cow with a bull calf.
