An entry of 481 sheep forward for Craig Wilson's sale saw 195 lambs average 392p per kg having sold to 432p for Texels from C Wilson, Barlennan or £214 for a Charollais from R and D Wilson, High Barness.
Hoggs sold to £205 for Suffolks from J and D Morrison, Culmalzie and to 350p for Beltex from F Allison, Glenstables.
Cast sheep reached £208 for Beltex tups from R and E McCaig, North Port O’Spittal.
Dumfries
At C and D Auctions's sale of 116 hoggs, Texels topped the trade at £200 per head from LR Howatson, Corrie Mains, or 341p from Lanarkland.
Lambs reached £208 for Suffolks from M and G Barr, Meikle Kikland and 459p for Texels from the same home. Cast sheep sold to £225 for Texel tups from Corrie Mains.

An entry of 3148 hoggs forward for C and D Auctions' sale averaged 338.6p per kg having sold to 450p for Beltex from R and J Lines, Killocraw, Bellochantuy, or £300 for Texels and Beltex from F Graham, River Park. Some 234 spring lambs sold to 455p for Texels from R Johnston, Kimmeter Green, Annan and to £224 from HM Martindale, The Land, Ecclefechan.
Cast sheep (2852) sold to £295 for Texel ewes from J Pirie, Machrihanish, Campbeltown.
Stirling (UA)
United Auctions sold 4510 hoggs, 387 lambs, and 1081 cast sheep, with the former averaging 335.19p per kg having sold to 435p for Beltex from Luckenburn and to £212 per head for Texels from Westend.
New season lambs averaged 370.96p and sold to 464p for Texels from South Ballaird and to £220 for Suffolks from Little Balquhomerie.
Cast sheep reached £262 for Texel ewes from Elmscleugh.

The sale of 114 prime cattle saw heifers and bullocks average 296.44p and 282.2p per kg respectively at the Caledonian Marts sale.
Heifers sold to 330p or £2000 per head for a Limousin from W Dandie, Learielaw, with bullocks to 315p for a Limousin from DS and RC Taylor, Easter Ochtermuthill and to £2134 for a Limousin from J Collier and Son, Dullomuir.
Young bulls sold to 258p for a Red Poll crossed British Blue from L Laird and son, Lochhead and to £2214 for a Charolais from L McArthur, Cretlevane.
Cast cattle averaged 183.97p having sold to 217p for a Limousin from Ferguson Bros, Gillandersland and to £1920 for a Limousin from A and A Black, North Woodend.
On Tuesday, new season lambs averaged 409.21p having sold to 500p for Texels from PG Perring, Hoprig, Cockburnspath and to £220 for Beltex from Easter Ochtermuthill.

Aberdeen and Northern Marts sold 2727 sheep at their sale with 156 new season lambs averaging 413.5p per kg. Top price was 462.5p for 44kg Texels from Newton of Canousie, Forglen and £214 per head for 62kg Suffolks from Exnaboe, Virkie.
Old season lambs (1389) averaged 355.3p having sold to 426.1p and £208 for Texel crosses from Templefold, Skene and Newton of Greeness respectively.
Cast sheep reached £214.50 for a Suffolk ram from Tillyeve, Udny.
Bullocks (19) averaged 260p and sold to 294p for a 545kg Limousin cross from New Mains, Glenkindie and to £2273.85 for an 815kg Limousin cross from Daies, Wardhouse.
Heifers (33) averaged 280.5p and sold to 307p for both a 540kg Limousin cross from New Mains, Glenkindie and a 600kg Limousin from Stoneyhill, Keith-hall. Top price per head was £1879.85 for a 655kg Charolais cross from Stoneyhill.
Young bulls (17) averaged 261.7p having sold to 287p for a 740kg British Blue from Quoybond, South Ronaldsay and to £2310.75 for a 975kg Charolais from Kinclune, Glenkindie.
Cast cattle sold to £2280 for 1068kg Charolais cow from Harestone Farm, Crathes.

Some 151 cattle and 765 sheep were sold through Darlington Farmers Auction Mart, where 75 heifers sold to 346p per kg for a 566kg Limousin from R Hirst, Neasham Grange and to £2109 per head for a 708kg British Blue from JE Suddes and Son, Rowley Farm.

Heifers sold to £2209 or 316.5p for a 698kg Limousin cross from Messrs Brough, Old Rectory Farm, Carlisle. Young bulls (53) sold to £2386 or 313.5p for a 793kg Limousin from Messrs Robertson, Newton of Logierait. Cast cows (236) reached £2018 for a 928kg Simmental from Messrs Carter, Gerrard House and to 275.5p for a 619kg Limousin from Messrs Watson, Sanders Close.
Some 2761 sheep were also sold with 814 spring lambs selling to 555p for 40kg Beltex from Messrs Thompson, Lakeland View, Kirklinton and to £230 for Texels from Messrs Hennessy, Orton Rigg, Carlisle.
Hoggs averaged 365p and sold to £250 or 455p for Texels from Messrs Watson, Bowsden Moor.

An entry of 54 prime cattle and 84 cast cows forward for Lawrie and Symington's sale saw Limousin heifers sell to 334p per kg or £2100 from Brockwoodlees Farm, Canonbie.
Limousins topped the bullocks at 298p from Fauldingcleugh, Lockerbie and to £1934 from Hill Farm, Strathaven.
Cast cattle reached £2110 for a Limousin cow from Buteland Farm, Balerno and to 246p for another of the same cross from Heathreyhall Farm, Lanark.
Some 70 spring lambs averaged 384p having sold to 435p for Texels from Wallhouse Farm, or £190 on four occasions – for Texels from North Garngour Farm and Auchenhard Farm, and for Suffolks from Kailzie Mains Farm and Dreva Farm.
Hoggs (2656) averaged 330p and sold to 414p for Texels from Messrs Baillie, Broomfield Lodge and to £214 for Texels from Messrs Currie, Bogside Farm.
Cast sheep (919) averaged 127.76p and sold to £302 for a Texel ewe from Messrs Clark, North Garngour Farm.

Some 1309 sheep comprising of 218 lambs, 763 hoggs and 328 cast sheep were sold at Craig Wilson's sale where the former averaged 428.33p per kg having sold to 483p for Texel crosses from Messrs Notman, Redding or £222 for Texels from Messrs King, Langstilly (Lochwinnoch).
Hoggs sold to £194 and 389p for Beltex from Messrs Stevenson, Balcaimie.
Cast sheep reached £231 for a Texel ewe from The Wilson Family, Chapelton.
On Tuesday, heifers (13) averaged 311p having sold to 333p for a Limousin cross from Messrs Young, Girvan Mains.
Bullocks reached 303p for a Limousin cross from Messrs Craig, Rankinston and young bulls sold to 246p for a Limousin from J Gibb, Giffordland.

Old season lambs (174) sold to 325p for 42.5kg Cheviots from Conon Brae Farms, Torgorm and to £170 for a 62kg Cheviot from Longreens Croft, Thrumpster.
Cast sheep sold to £206 for a Suffolk cross ewe from Smallburn Farms.
Castle Douglas
New season lambs (43) averaged 407.25p per kg at Wallets Marts' sale peaking at 413.8p and £200.50 for Texels from Messrs Watson, High Borgue and Messrs Kerr, Denty.
Hoggs (399) sold to 369.5p for Beltex from Messrs Adams, Torhousekie and to £200 for Charollais from Messrs McCarthy, Cosy Cottage.
Cast sheep (275) sold to £217 for both a Suffolk Beltex cross ram from Torhouskie and a Beltex ram from Cosy Cottage.
