Some 304 hoggs averaged 345p per kg at Craig Wilson's sale having sold to 389p for Beltex from C Williams, Blair.
Top price per head was £218 for Suffolks from HS MacTier, Boghouse and J McKenna and Sons, Gass, Kirkcowan.
Spring lambs (21) averaged 413p and sold to £220 and 426p for Suffolks from A and T Wilson, Baryerrock.
Cast sheep reached £190 for Suffolk ewes from H Vance, Mid Skeog.
Dumfries
At C and D Auctions’ sale 197 hoggs cashed in at 357.88p per kg, selling to 389p from Hoddomtown or to £198 for Texels from A McKunem, Townhead.
Lambs sold to £204 from MA Lethardy, Thornhill.
Cast sheep reached £214 for a Texel tup from Druidhell.
Longtown
Beltex topped the hogg trade at 480p per kg and £260 per head from JP Mason and Sons, East Farm, Langton at C and D Auction Marts' sale, where 3602 head averaged 370.7p.
Lambs (226) sold to 468p and £225 for Beltex from Todburn.
Cast sheep (2385) reached £285 for Texel ewes from J and C Hastings, Kopje, Dumfries.
Cows peaked at 256p for a Limousin from Messrs Jackson, Annfield, Ballantrae and to £1755 for anther of the same from N McBurney, Balsalloch, Girvan.
Stirling (UA)
United Auctions had forward 6535 sheep at its weekly comprising 4878 hoggs, 203 new season lambs and 1454 cast sheep.
Hoggs averaged 368.72p per kg and sold to 463p for Beltex from Luckenburn and to £230 for Texels from Netherton.
Lambs averaged 408.27p and sold to 440p and £215 for Texels from Penston and Cauldcoates respectively.
Cast sheep sold to £295 for Texel ewes from Mains of Cairnies.

Limousins led most sections at Caledonian Marts’ sale where 20 bullocks averaged 281.07p per kg, selling to 315p and £2175 per head from W Dandie and Sons, Learielaw and J Collier and Sons, Dullomuir respectively.
Heifers (37) averaged 301.53p and sold to 345p for a British Blue from M Orr, Penston and £2094 for a Limousin from Dullomuir.
Five young bulls sold to 238p and £2174 for Limousins from WI and AW Callion, Bolfornought and W Dick and Sons, Mains of Throsk respectively.
Cast cattle averaged 191.31p and sold to 272p and £2040 for Limousins from G McFadzean, Woodend of Mailer and Mains of Throsk respectively.
On Tuesday, spring lambs averaged 428.33p having sold to £230 or 500p for Beltex from Easter Ochtermuthill, Muthill while hoggs averaged 332.37p having sold to 504p or £232 for Beltex from G and J Davie, Harviesmailing, Denny.
Cast sheep sold to £245 for Texel ewes from R Taylor, Whiterigg.

Aberdeen and Northern Marts sold 1863 old season lambs to average 379p.
A top price of 476.2p was paid for 42kg Beltex from Mains of Allanbuie, Keith, or £217.50 for 61kg Texels from Newton of Greeness, Turriff.
New season lambs (80) levelled at 406.6p, reaching 426.7p for 45kg Texel crosses from Drum Farm, Keith and £206 for 50kg Suffolk crosses from Mains of Cowie, Stonehaven.
Cast sheep (820) averaged £119.55 and sold to £234.50 for a Suffolk ram from Cadgerford, Kingswells.
Bullocks (30) sold to 305p for a 525kg Limousin cross from Whiteside, Tullynessle and to £2156.70 for a 790kg Limousin cross from Daies, Wardhouse.

Heifers (64) peaked at £2057.44 from Whitrighill and to 322p from Learielaw.
Young bulls reached £2326.56 and 296p from Upper Nisbet with cast cattle (34) averaging 204p and selling to 265p for Whitburgh and to £1947.88 from Whitrighill.
The 301 new season lambs (301) averaged 400p and sold to £222.50 for Texels from Ballencreiff Mains and to 450p for Blue Texels from Lochside.

Some1674 hoggs forward for Harrison and Hetherington’s sale averaged £168.46 per head, where Texel crosses from Messrs Fell, Stanger Hill, Wigton, topped the trade at £240 and 520p per kg.
Lambs (544) averaged 439p having sold to 600p for 32kg Beltex crosses from Messrs Roots, Kilnford Croft and to £258 for Texels from Messrs Lawson, High Boonwood, Gosforth.
Cast sheep (1236) averaged £152.74 reaching £260 for Texels and Beltex from Messrs Ingram, Logie Durno, Inverurie.
Heifers sold to £2241.15 for a 761kg British Blue cross from Messrs Brough, Old Rectory, Carlisle and to 308.5p for a Limousin cross from Messrs Steel, Steeley Farm, Bishop Auckland.
Bullocks hit a top of £2308.87 for a 746kg Limousin cross from Messrs Studholme, Nealhouse, Carlisle and 320.50p for a 690kg entry of the same breed from Messrs Nicholson, The Lake.
Young bulls (118) reached £2749.40 and 317.5p for Limousins from Messrs Wilson, Reddings Farm, Moffat, with cast cattle selling to £2725.13 for a 1075kg Charolais from Messrs Kearton, Wysehill and to 277.5p for a British Blue cow from Messrs Paterson, Upper Auchenlay.

Lawrie and Symington sold 85 head of cattle comprising 35 bullocks and heifers and 50 cast cows.
Limousins from Brockwoodlees, Canonbie, topped the heifers at 330p per kg and £2052. Bullocks sold to £1980 and 258p from South Arnloss, with cast cows reaching £1910 for a Limousin cross from Heatheryhall, Biggar and 248p for a Charolais cross from Lawriesmuir, Lesmahagow.
Lambs (52) averaged 430p having sold to 250p and £2258 for Texels from Messrs Wilkins, Wester Whitecastle, Biggar and Messrs Laird, Cambwell, Biggar respectively. The entry of 2641 hoggs averaged 361p and reached 427p for Beltex from Messrs Taylor, Heathreyhall and £248 for Texels from Messrs Taylor, Skirling, Craigs, Biggar.
Cast sheep (948) averaged 119.02p having sold to £282 for Texel ewes again from the Taylors, Craigs.
Ayr
An entry of 1222 sheep forward for Craig Wilson's sale saw 135 spring lambs average 402p per kg having sold to 460p for Suffolks from Messrs Nisbet, Sorn Mains, or £210 per head for Texels from Messrs Sloan, Mull of Galloway and for Suffolks from Messrs Currie, Fisherton.
Beltex topped the hogg trade at £212 and 430p from Messrs Stevenson, Balcaimie. Cast sheep (404) reached £242 for a Texel ewe from DM Walker and Son, Laigh Alticane.
Heifers (12) averaged 308.5p and sold to 330p for a British Blue from Messrs Limond, Knocknaib and a Limousin from The Smith Family, North Boig.
Top price per head was £2132 for a Limousin from The Andrew Family, Rowanston.
Bullocks averaged 321.02p having sold to 330p for a Limousin from M and S Bell, Changue.
Cast cattle reached £2180 for an Aberdeen Angus bull from Easter Hillhouse.
Huntly
United Auctions sold 610 old season lambs to level at 325p per kg, with a top price of 412p paid for 49kg Texels from Newton, Cabrach, or £212 for 80kg Charollais from Elmgrove, Glenlivet.
New season lambs (48) averaged 385p having sold to 432p for 44kg Texels from Drumbrun, Keith and to £206 for 53.4kg Suffolks from Foulzie, King Edward. Cast sheep reached £248 for a Texel ewe from Corsairtly, Keith.
Dingwall
Some 1143 sheep forward for Dingwall and Highland Marts sale on Tuesday, saw 11 new season lambs average 364.1p per kg , with top prices of 395p and £175 paid for Suffolks from Glendonan, Knockfarrel. Old season lambs (312) averaged 321.6p and sold to 367p and £192 for Texel crosses from Overhill, Banff and Ericht Farming, Lairg respectively.
Cast sheep reached £184 for a Texel cross ewe from 5c Balnabeen, Conon Bridge.
Seven bullocks averaged 300.6p and sold to 306p or £1927.80 for a 630kg Limousin cross from Udale, Poyntzfield and a 570kg Limousin heifer from Bridgend, Dingwall, made 300p or £1710.
Castle Douglas
Wallets Marts sold 59 new season lambs to average 403.94p per kg, selling to 412p for Texels from Messrs Barr, Meikle Kirkland, or £210.50 for Suffolks from Messrs Newbould, Meikle Cloak.
Hoggs sold to £217 and 392.7p for Texels from Messrs Reynolds, Breconside Cottage and Messrs Finlayson, Old Cluden respectively. Cast sheep sold to £240 for a Texel tup from Messrs Farries, Castlegower.
