Bullocks sold to 441.70p per kg for a 412kg British Blue cross from Netherton, and to £1880 for a 606kg Charolais cross from Cairnfield.
Leading the heifers was a 412kg Limousin cross from Meadows of Ballied, that made 366.50p, whilst a 674kg Charolais cross realised £1890 for Dykes.
Young bulls (29) averaged 264.05p and sold to 298.40p for a 382kg Limousin cross from Oatfield, and to £1490 for a 511kg Charolais cross from Chapel.
Some 1313 store sheep and breeding sheep were also forward, which reached £173 for Blackface store hoggs from Dall. Breeding sheep reached £125 for Texel ewes with Texel lambs at foot from Whitesykes.

Weaned cattle reached £1690 for a 10-month-old Limousin bull from Messrs Evans, Halmyre.

Heifers sold to 409.1p for a 418kg Limousin cross from Westerton, Echt and to £1860 for a pair of Beef Shorthorns from Wrangham, Colpy.
A 418kg Limousin from Keppers Cottage, Gorthleck, led the bull trade at 433p and £1810.
On Tuesday, the firm sold 312 store hoggs to average £120.22 peaking at £185 for Dutch Spotted from Evergreen, Kininmonth.

A roan red Limousin heifer topped the sale at £2550 for Messrs Rochester and Murray, Glebe.
The reserve champion at the pre-sale show, another Limousin cross heifer, this time from P and EB Robson, Middle Horsleyhope, made £2500, while the champion, a black Limousin cross heifer from GW and C Athey and Son, High Lovelady Shield, made £2400.
The same breed also led the steer trade at £2200 for JE Woodman and Son, Great Chesters.
A mixed show of 446 store hoggs averaged £135.39, having sold to £195 for Texel crosses from A Hall and Sons, Barker House.

On Monday, Wallets Marts sold 478 store cattle to a top of £1700 for Simmental heifers from Messrs Corcoran, Viewfield, and to 353p per kg for Aberdeen Angus heifers from Auchenleck.
Bullocks reached £1590 for Limousins from Meikle Kirkland, and to 369.9p for Charolais from Messrs Davidson, Poldean.

Some 159 calves and stirks forward for Craig Wilson’s sale, saw trade reach £1370 for a Hereford cross bullock stirk from Messrs Bruce, Watston.
Top price amongst the calves was £690 paid for a pair of British Blue cross bulls from A and E Parker, Merkland.
All classes of breeding cattle met an increased demand, with a top price of 4000gns paid for a Simmental bull from Langalbuinach.
Heifers and calves sold to £3100 for a Limousin with bull calf at foot from Little Creoch, with bulling heifers to £2000 for a Limousin cross from Langside.

On Tuesday, Harrison and Hetherington held their fortnightly sale of store cattle, where a Limousin bullock made £2000 for Messrs Halliday, Crawthat.
Messrs Common, Crossdyke sold a Limousin heifer for £1840.
Among the pence per kg sections it was more Limousins that led the way with bullocks making 375ppk for Messrs Brown, Mosshead, while heifers sold to 372p again from Messrs Common, Crossdykes.
