Heifers and bullocks levelled at £1300 and £1400 respectively at Harrison and Hetherington's weekly store cattle sale.
A Limousin cross heifer from Messrs Morton, Church Farm, Penrith, topped the sale at £2200, with the same breed leading the bullocks at £1980 for Messrs Gent, Brecks Farm, Newark.
Bulls led the weaned cattle trade at £1510 for a British Blue from Messrs Burrows, Lodge Farm.
Limousins led the bullocks and heifers at £1340 from Messrs Scott, Cockermouth, and to £1400 for Messrs Batty, Penrith, respectively.
The weekly sale of calves reached £620 for a British Blue bull from Messrs Simpson, Waingate Head, with the same breed topping the heifers at £580 for T and E Dun, Jeanfield, Carnwath.
A smaller entry of breeding cattle was forward, which peaked at £2200 for Limousin heifers from Morton, Church Farm.
On Monday, the firm conducted the weekly sale of ewes and lambs, which attained a top price of £198 per life for a Beltex gimmer outfit from BJ Park, Kirklands, Holmrook.
Hoggs with lambs topped at £140 per life for Texel crosses from NJ and JM Todhunter, Greyrigg House, Wigton.
A centre record for a pet lamb was also achieved this week, for a Valais Blacknose ram lamb from Anne Garthwaite, Satur Mill, making £200.
In all 52 pet lambs cashed in at £22.30.

On Monday, United Auctions sold 50 store cattle, where bullocks and heifers averaged 293.01p per kg (+23.9p on the year) and 266.35p (+13.79p) respectively.
Limousin cross bullocks from JJ and CSA Macdonald, Carnan, Eochdar, led the proceedings at £1550 and 325p.
The same home topped the pence per kg heifers at 305p, whilst a Simmental cross from A Macmillan, Bornish House, Lochboisdale, made £1440.
