Custom reaching all four nations showed the success of the dispersal of J Bolter and Son's herd of organic cattle including many Scandinavian Red and New Zealand crossbreds from Faringdon, Oxfordshire, after 100 years of farming.
Topping the sale at 3250gns was a Scandanavian Red cross cow, due her second calf in September to an Angus bull, purchased by a Gloucestershire buyer who bought 35 head in total. He also purchased six served heifers at 1700gs, the top price in this section.
Brian Gilmore from Co, Armagh, N.Ireland gave 2220gns for another Scandanavian Red cross and Cheshire buyers SEA Aidley and Co purchased several at up to 2200gns.
