A joint top price of 4000gns was achieved at a pedigree Longhorn cattle sale at Worcester, with both lots consigned by Northants breeder, Rachel Heard, Welford.

First to achieve that price was the pre-sale champion, a March 2021-born heifer by Tanfield Pilot. She is out of a home-bred female and was knocked down to Jane Grant of the Longbridge herd, York.

The first prize bull, Treverton Valiant made the same money when selling to JP Holdcroft, Burton On Trent, Staffordshire. Similarly aged, he is also by Pilot.
