Exports of Scottish food and drink increased by almost a third to a record breaking £8.1bn, in 2022.
Food exports in Scotland rose 12.8% to £1.9bn according to the HMRC's new trade statistics which were welcomed by Scottish Rural Affairs Secretary Mairi Gougeon.
She said the result were testament to the quality, innovation and skill shown by the people across Scotland.

"It is hugely welcome to see Scotland's food and drink exports were worth a record £8.1bn in 2022. These figures show the results of a successful collaboration between the private sector and the industry," she said.
When excluding oil and gas, the value of Scotland's exports grew by 20.5% in 2022 compared to the previous year, which is greater than the 13.3% increase in exports for the UK as a whole.
The EU market was worth £9.4bn to Scotland, last year.
