AN ET lamb from the Taylor family's Lanarkshire-based Heatheryhall flock has been sold privately for £10,000 in an all Scottish transaction.
Heatheryhall Fireman Sam is the first son to be sold by last year's 30,000gns Buckles Dark Dawn ET, and is the result of a flush from the Quarrymount William Wallace daughter, Heatheryhall Adele ET.
Producing a personal best for the 40-ewe flock from Thankerton, Biggar, established in 1998, Fireman Sam sold to pedigree breeder, Grant Maxwell buying for his Faughhill flock from Melrose, following a viewing day.
