The SAYFC Annual National Clay Pigeon Shooting final took place at Cluny Clays on Saturday, December 3, with East Lothian JAC emerging as the victors.

The event witnessed 20 participants from various regions engaging in a 50-bird all-round shoot. East Lothian JAC showcased their shooting ability, securing the top spot with a team comprising James Kennedy, Rupert Kinch, and Matthew Kinch accomplishing a combined score of 144.

Securing the second position was the team representing Avondale YFC which included Jack Brailsford, Ian Young and Gordan Craig scoring 142. Inverurie JAC finalised the third spot consisting of Martyn Thomson, Ian Armstrong, and Luke Burnett achieving a score of 124. Other participating members came from Callander, Lanark, East Kilbride, Crossroads, and Border Fed.

The individual top performer of the competition, recognized as the Top Gun, was Matthew Kinch from East Lothian JAC, attaining an impressive score of 46/50.
